Our Garage Door Maintenance Process

1. Visual Inspection – We will start by visually inspecting your residential garage door or commercial overhead door for any visible damage, wear, or misalignment. We’ll also inspect your garage door springs, cables, rollers, tracks, and hinges for signs of wear or rust.
2. Hardware Tightening – With continued use, it’s easy for your garage door’s hardware to become loose or knocked slightly out of place. Loose hardware can cause system misalignment or create safety hazards. This is why we ensure that all bolts, nuts, and screws are securely tightened.
3. Lubrication – Inclement weather and continued elemental exposure are peak conditions for rust and weathering. Applying lubricant to moving parts such as rollers, hinges, and springs reduces friction, prevents corrosion, and promotes smooth operation.
4. Balance Test – Next, we will test the door’s balance by disconnecting it from your garage door opener and manually operating the door. A properly balanced door should stay halfway open without falling or rising.
5. Weatherstripping Inspection – During this portion of your maintenance service, we’ll check and replace your weatherstripping if it has become damaged. Weatherstripping helps seal the door, preventing drafts and maintaining temperature control.

Opener Testing – Lastly, our professional team will test your garage door opener’s safety features, including auto-reverse and photo-eye sensors, to ensure proper function.
